I’m a holistic self care and life transformation coach who works with women to create blissful lives. My purpose in life has always been to make meaningful connections with and help others to live a life of wellness and joy.
I don’t always know what path my life is leading me on, but I have always known two things:
- That my purpose here has always been to help others, supporting them in their personal journeys of healing and growth.
- That I have never, ever fit into the stereotypical “graduate, get a career, get married, have babies, and be grateful if you get two weeks vacation time each year” lifestyle that many of us are told we should seamlessly fall into.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve been intrigued by places far away, of trying on different lifestyles as though I’m swapping hats. But to finally make that decision, to do things that everyone told me was unrealistic, dangerous, or that I shouldn’t be doing alone because I was a woman, took a lot of strength that I didn’t always have.
Let me share a little more of my story with you…
At the age of 18, I began the process of overcoming incredible shyness and fear of talking to new people by embarking on a six-month solo travel adventure. It was a shock to everyone, and I sat in fear of the unknown during that first flight (and by this I mean I cried all the way to Ireland), but it was without a doubt the best decision I’ve ever made for my life. During this time, I was forced way out of my comfort zone every moment of every day.
That experience catapulted my travel obsession and I have continued traveling solo to 22 countries and counting – including studying abroad in the Caribbean, completing a working holiday in Australia, and visiting my dream destinations. It is the driving force behind my unstoppable journey to live a life that feels right for me, not just what society tells me it should be.
But it hasn’t been easy! Getting out there, feeling confident in a group of new people, pushing my limits and trying new things has been incredibly difficult for me (secret: it still is hard). I cannot remember a time in my childhood or adolescence where I wasn’t plagued by negative thoughts about my body and my worth. I was always comparing my body to those of my friends. I was never thin enough, strong enough or pretty enough in a world where women’s beauty standards were based on unrealistic images of photo-shopped models and celebrities. And these feelings of not being worthy seeped into all of my experiences. Since then, I have been on a life-long personal development journey. It began with working to overcome negative thoughts and self-worth associated with my body and expanded to wanting to create joy and gratitude in all areas of my life. It is a process, and I am nowhere near perfect, but it is a process I have embraced and one that I love.
Self-care was something that I had to learn. As a natural helper personality and working in a helping profession, I realized early on how vital it is to dedicate time for self-care. I have experienced compassion fatigue, vicarious trauma and burnout in my career and would not be able to continue the work I do today without having a consistent self-care routine. Previously, I thought self-care was an excuse to binge watch TV for hours or drink the wine. Today, I realize that self-care goes far beyond “treating yourself” and that it is a practice of dedication, a willingness to continuously evolve and, sometimes, a little tough love.
These last ten years of my life have revolved around long-term solo traveling around the world, constantly educating myself, and growing into the woman I am today through a lot of soul searching. It has been about creating a life that embodies joy and wellness or, as I like to say, a life of bliss. And now, I want to do the same for you – encouraging you to fall in love with yourself and your life through self-care and the undeniable belief that you are worthy of all that you desire.

about the bliss movement
The Bliss Movement was born from my desire to live my life in a way that fosters freedom, happiness and – most importantly – leads from the heart. It’s a journey of embracing new experiences, pushing past boundaries and creating a life that feels good. This space began with a sole desire to document a life of travel but since then, it has expanded with me as I realized the importance of creating a peaceful and supportive inner world. I’m a believer that we all deserve to live a life that fills us with that I can’t believe this is my life feeling, that we all have unique gifts to share with the world, and that we are all worthy of living a life we love.
Today, The Bliss Movement serves as a source of inspiration for all of you who have your heart strings pulling you off in new directions. It is a place where you can come to reconnect with who you are, find tools to support you in reaching your goals, and connect with me for undivided support to enhance your life.
